Twin Atlantic announced as final 2000trees headliner, along with 20 more acts

Scottish alt-rockers Twin Atlantic have been announced as the Friday night headliner for 2000trees 2018.

The quartet from Glasgow were announced last week, joining established headliners Enter Shikari and At The Drive In, as well as a host of acts already announced, including Frightened Rabbit, And So I Watch You From Afar, Ben Marwood, Creeper, Hell is for Heroes, Basement and many more.
Alongside the headliner announcement, 20 more acts were revealed to be playing the 2018 edition of the Cotswolds weekender – including Moose Blood, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Sikth, Meat Wave, Palm Reader, Couragemylove, The Kenneths, Swedish Death Candy and Avalanche Party.

This will mark Twin Atlantic’s second headline appearance at the festival, having headlined the mainstage in 2016 – their first headline appeareance outside of their native Scotland.

Twin Atlantic frontman Sam McTrusty said of the 2016 event; ‘This will be our first headline performance at a festival in England. I hope you can be there and witness history in the making. Whenever we take on new experiences we always up our game, so expect to see one of our best shows to date. Really looking forward to returning to a festival that has given us so much love over the years. Very fond memories of playing the MainStage at one of the coolest festivals in the UK.”
