Two new waves of artists have been announced this week ahead of Tramlines – the Steel City’s annual music festival in July.
In the run up to the 7th edition of the Sheffield event, the lineup has been beefed-up with such established names as George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic, Craig Charles, Little Comets and The Enemy. They are supported by a host of rising talent that includes Teleman, Cowtown, Last Japan and Beaty Heart.
Today also saw the announcement of Crazy P Soundsystem, David ‘Ram Jam’ Rodigan, Logan Sama, The Mouse Outfit, Official Mr Scruff & MC Kwasi and Quantic Music for the inner-city multi-venue festival, widening the musical spectrum on offer for the festival’s attendees.
The newly announced acts join a genre-spanning roster including the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Kelis and Jurassic 5.
Tramlines takes place 22nd-24th July. Tickets are now available via the official website.
