Primavera Sound 2018, one of the biggest European musicfestivals, has announced its lineup of mid-afternoon concerts in Madrid and Barcelona, ‘Els Aperitius del Primavera amb Aperol’ (The Appetizers of Primavera with Aperol).
Some of the musical highlights over the next month in the lead up to Primavera Sound (30 May – 3 June) are:
Nothing Places (4th May) in Madrid;
Alondra Bentley (12th May) in Madrid;
David Carabén (Mishima singer, 25th May) in Barcelona;
Ferran Palau (19th may) in Barcelona.
The concerts will be kicked off by DJ sessions from the electronic sounds of Ylia, the tropical fiesta of Sonido Tupinamba, Javi Bayo’s eclecticism and the laid-back tunes of El Almacén de Discos DJs.
Back in January, Primavera Sound launched its lineup – and it’s massive. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights feature Bjork, The National and Arctic Monkeys as the main head liners, supported by Lorde, A$ap Rocky, Haim, Tyler The Creator, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Not just that but in Barcelona there will be some of the biggest up-and-coming names from across the music spectrum, including Chvrches, IDLES, Car Seat Headrest, Sylvan Esso and Father John Misty.
Saturday day tickets are now sold out, but the last wave of tickets are still available for the 4 day festival, as well as day tickets for Thursday and Friday.
