Noel Gallagher & The High Flying Birds have announced a hometown gig at the O2 Ritz in Manchester.
The 1,500 capacity venue is a more intimate setting than what Gallagher will be used to and it will be the first time he has ever played at the venue.
The gig will be held on 18th July and was announced in partnership with Absolute Radio. Fans will have to sign up through Noel’s official website to be in with a chance of catching this one off show.
One of Manchester’s favourite musical sons, Noel, has been riding a huge wave of success since embarking on his solo career, after leaving and ultimately disbanding, Oasis in 2009.
His latest album ‘Who Built the Moon?’, the third of his solo career, was released in November 2017 via Sour Mash Records and went straight to Number 1, as well as achieving gold certification in less than two weeks after its release – making it a trio of Number 1 solo records following 2011’s eponymous album and 2015’s ‘Chasing Yesterday’.
Registered applicants will receive a special code and can then buy tickets from 10am on Wednesday July 4th. Lead purchasers name will be printed on the ticket and photo ID will be required for entry to venue. Ticket holders must be 14 or over.
