Following the success of last year’s debut appearance on the London festival circuit, Community Festival returns with a superb line-up.

With Catfish & The Bottlemen smashing through a set at the Finsbury Park festival last year, the bill was in need of some big names to deliver the same raucous welcome to summer in the capital.

The latest line-up features some of the hottest upcoming artists on the Indie and Alternative scene. Bad Sounds are one band to look out for this year, blending electronic beats with sharp lyrics and funk influences.

Pale Waves have gathered serious traction this year, releasing a string of singles under the guidance of The 1975’s Matt Healy. Their brand of dreamy Indie-pop is sure to get the crowds moving this summer.

Other names that join the bill are Rat Boy, who is currently on a huge headline UK tour. Reading boys Sundara Karma join the fore, following a highly successful UK tour at the end of last year, with new material set to be released.

The Vaccines, who release their fourth studio album, Combat Sports next month, will be a well-oiled machine by July, with a massive tour coming this spring in their new five-man formation.

Headliners for this year’s Community Festival are Two Door Cinema Club. Many fans of Indie will feel old in realising that debut album Tourist History landed eight years ago, but the anthems on that breakout album remain classics.

They are the perfect headliner for a day festival. High energy belters that punters can throw their all at, knowing that tomorrow there is no day two of festival to contend with.

Community Festival returns Sunday 1st July at Finsbury Park, tickets are on sale now at
