Isle of Wight have released the first names
to feature on their 2020 line-up!
As we enter Christmas party season, summer
festival season seems like a lifetime away, but the names announced are enough
to get any Christmas Grinch smiling.
To be held 11-14 June 2020, the legendary
festival has announced former Commodores man Lionel Richie and Lewis Capaldi in
a Friday double-header.
Saturday sees another double bull headliner
of Belfast rockers Snow Patrol and timeless dance duo The Chemical Brothers,
before 80s pop heroes Duran Duran drawing the party to a close on the Sunday.
Traditionally the first big UK festival on
the calendar, other acts on-hand to kick-start the summer come in the form of
Brits-winner Sam Fender after his UK number 1 debut album ‘Hyspersonic Missles’.
Elsewhere, iconic British names of decades
gone by are peppered throughout including Shaun Ryder’s Happy Mondays, Primal
Scream, Shed Seven and Kaiser Chiefs.
With such an epic first wave of acts being
announced – the excitement for the rest of the bill is set to send music-lovers

dresses, deck the halls and drink a mulled wine or two – feel free to start
dreaming of summer!
