A new charity single called ‘Boob Spelled Backwards is Boob’, featuring Florence Welch, Hozier, Noel Gallagher and many more, has become available to stream today.

The song is being released on October 1st in order to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It stems from ‘The Boob Project’, a fundraising project organised by DJs on KFOG FM in California. The lyrics are written by eight year old Archer Nelson, whose mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and whose father works at the radio station.

The song was organised across a number of months, with different artists recording small parts as they appeared on the station. It has now been stitched together and is available for streaming! Noel Gallagher, Florence Welch, Milky Chance, Bleachers, Hozier, Spandau Ballet and Elle King are some of the artists who make an appearance.

The video above shows the making of the song, along with a number of women at different stages of their cancer reatment. It may not be a ground-breaking hit, but it’s for a good cause!
