Flying Lotus premiers feature length film Kuso at the Sundance Film Festival

Electro-trip-hop wizard Flying Lotus premiered his first foray into the world of film last weekend at Sundance. However, a few members of the audience simply couldn’t hack his strange and warped creative vision and walked out. Flylo responded on twitter, remarking that:

“It was only like 20 people out of like 400 who walked out. Wasn’t as dramatic as they make it out to be. I tried to warn folks.”

Judging by the it’s trailer and early reviews, ‘Kuso’ is disturbing to say the least. Feauting the likes of George Clinton and Hannibal Duress, the feature length has been described as “the grossest film ever made” by The Verge. Consequence of Sound remarked that the film included “truly unsettling motifs regarding family, love, sex, and the horrors of a world gone completely mad.”
