Desert Mountain Tribe to Perform Live at Rough Trade

The London based alternative/indie rock trio Desert Mountain Tribe have just released their incredible second album, ‘Om Parvat Mystery’. Co-produced by the band with James Aparicio, their new album was recorded in London and the Faroe Islands. ‘Om Parvat Mystery’ also features Najma Akhtar, the British singer of Indian ancestry who has previously collaborated with the likes of Page & Plant and Jah Wobble, on two songs, including the barnstorming album closer ‘Chemical Genius.’

Formed in 2012, Desert Mountain Tribe released their debut album, ‘Either That Or The Moon’, in the spring of 2016 to positive reviews from UK publications such as Shindig, Classic Rock, Louder Than War, Drowned In Sound and The Arts Desk. Furthermore, singles from the record included the Youth remixed ‘Enos In Space (Top Of The World) and ‘Interstellar (BvB Version)’.

Having played a sold out album launch show at The Lexington in London in late May, Desert Mountain Tribe will shortly be announcing tour dates for the autumn but ahead of this, they will participate in a tour of the UK’s Rough Trade stores.
