This year’s Boomtown is shaping up to be a corker. With headliners Limp Bizkit, Die Antwood and Soul II Soul being some of the biggest names Boomtown have pulled in to date.
With the stage announcements nearly complete, the Lions Den looks set to serve up a feast of music. With Gorillaz headlining. They’ll be supported by the godfather of reggae, Jimmy Cliff. Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals will also take to the stage and bring their unique blend of reggae, blues and folk to the stage.
Blending the sublime and ridiculous will also be a will set from Boomtown favourites Ed Solo & Deekline also going B2B Serial Killaz B2B Benny Page. Chopstick Dubplate will also be in attendance in a show that also features Demolition Man, Ragga Twins & Horseman continuing the artist mashup. Who knows what they’ll deliver.
It’s not all about music though. Boomtown will also be launching a two-day guided cycle ride from Bristol to the festival site. For the environmentally conscious, as well as anyone who thinks the best way to warm up to Boomtown is a long-distance cycle ride. This will allow people to have a wholesome start to the weekend while making friends with other cycling enthusiasts before the festival. Overall with an amazing lineup and a lot going on around the festival, Boomtown 2018 is set and ready to go.
This years Boomtown will also be opening it’s doors to it’s citizens one day earlier! Check out Wednesday’s full-line up below.
