Catfish and The Bottlemen have been named as the third and final headliner for APE Presents, on Friday 1st June.
The bill is a mouthwatering one for fans of Indie and Alternative, with stellar support coming in the form of Blossoms, The Neighbourhood, The Hunna, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and The Amazons.
This is the second year in a row that Catfish have headlined a London day festival, as they drew in huge crowds at last year’s Community Festival in Finsbury Park.
Frontman Van McCann has said this ahead of another Londonfestival headline slot:
“This is gonna be a massive night! Doesn’t get much better than 40,000 people outdoors screaming every word you’ve written back at you! That’ll do us nicely!”
All Points East is a brand new event in the capital, running from 25th May – 3rd June.
Other acts on the bill include, LCD Soundsystem, The xx and Bjork in what is a brilliant line-up.
Across the weekend, other headliners include The National on the Saturday, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds taking up the Sunday slot.
News of Catfish’s slot atop the APE bill comes amid talk of a new album, and what promises to be a busy summer for the Welsh rockers, as they play This Is Tomorrow Festival in May, Lollapalooza Paris in June and a huge show at Cardiff Castle in July.
Tickets go on sale 9am GMT Friday 26th January.
