Catfish and the Bottlemen have been announced as the headline act for Liverpool Sound City 2016 in May, along with a raft of new additions to the bill.
Van McCann and co. will headline on Saturday 28th May at the two-day event, while The Coral, as already announced, will headline on Sunday 29th May. Following the release of a new album and their own UK tour, the homecoming gig at the festival will mark the band’s return following a five year break. Meanwhile, with Catfish and the Bottlemen planning the release of a new album, there may be some new material on show following the success of debut album ‘The Balcony’.
