After a breakout 2019, with headline tour dates, explosive festival appearances and support from BBC Radio, Planet Rock and Classic Rock Magazine, Cambridge blues rockers Sweet Crisis are back today with their new single Rollin’ In It. The new track showcases their effortless grooves and Southern Rock riffs and adds to a growing catalogue of main-stage guitar anthems that already sound like classics.

Fans of The Black Crowes, The Black Keys, Black Pistol Fire (in fact, most bands with ‘Black’ in their name…) will find all their riff and rock needs satisfied here…

Rollin’ In It has a few stories behind it all converted into one,” explains guitarist and producer Piers Mortimer. “It’s a non-apologetic Rock song and it’s my favourite Sweet Crisis track to play live. It’s actually a song about Leo receiving a package in the post, and what that entailed!”

Vocalist and guitarist Leo Robarts mysteriously adds – “You know when people think the unthinkable and you can’t quite believe what is happening is real? That’s Rollin’ In It! It’s about a flash of events and becoming rich quickly.”

The band will be taking their gritty, 21st Century take on the blues, soul and classic rock n’ roll on the road at the following shows before hitting Download Festival in June –

7th March – The Eagle Inn, MANCHESTER

13th March – Hot Box, CHELMSFORD
