Billboard and the Hollywood Reporter will expand their print and digital publications to Thailand, following their recent partnership with Southeast Asian publisher Fierce Publishing.

The launch will include a push for social media channels, Thai-focused content, shows and conferences.

Jonathan Serbin, Head of Asia for Billboard and the Hollywood Reporter, tells Billboard, “entering this market will strongly influence the entertainment and music media landscape through two powerful brands.”

Billboard earlier this year signed with IMG as their licensing representative for product across Asia. Miki Yamamoto, Senior VP of Licensing, Asia at IMG told Billboard, “Our licensing program will draw on its youthful and fashionable image to develop products which resonate strongly with music fans. We have already held extremely productive discussions with local licensees and are confident we will hit the ground running.”
