From his 2015 breakthrough album ‘At Least For Now’, to his recent collaboration with Gorillaz, singer, songwriter and poet Benjamin Clementine has dazzled with his intense vocals and conscious lyrics, making him an artist growing in importance.

‘I Tell a Fly’, Clementine’s new album, will be released September 15th, but for those with little patience, new track ‘Jupiter’ has been released, and it is as bold, and as soulful as you could possibly imagine.

The song sees Clementine describe his experiences and feeling whilst wandering around America, thinking he was in a place maybe able to call “safe”, but increases in nationwide violence made that impossible. It also details Clementine being given a U.S. visa that described him as an “alien”, an adjective that means you may as well be from Jupiter after all.

Benjamin Clementine will also be companioning ‘I Tell a Fly’ with a European/US tour from October to December 2017. Full dates are available at http://benjaminclementine.com/performance/.
