Over two years since the release of ‘Where Lost Things Go’, Yorkshire’s very own genre-defying outfit are back with their third EP ‘L’appel Du Vide’.

Translating as ‘call of the void’, vocalist Mikey Lord speaks of the upcoming release: ‘L’appel Du Vide’ started out as a project where we wanted to explore the five stages of grief. Five songs, five stages. As with everything, the lines soon blurred and a far more complicated journey of transition and all the ugly things around it began. It’s about being young, heartbroken and lost. Losing who you are and slowly finding it again’.

After struggling with very personal loss and grief as a band over the past few years, the culmination reflects within ‘L’appel Du Vide’. Lord notes ‘The temptation of self-destruction rings out consistently after a loss; it’s like tinnitus. That tinnitus plays its part in all of these songs [in L’appel Du Vide]. And they’re all dripping with the most wonderful ridiculousness.’

This hotly anticipated EP will be released on 18th September 2020.
