It was only yesterday that rumours spread around the Canadian band, Arcade Fire, playing a gig at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe (Lincolnshire) on the 7th June, before heading to the Isle of Wight Festival, where they are set to play on 10th June.

After the venue confirmation on Twitter that rumours were true, and Arcade Fire listing the new gig on their website; today the band has announced they will play another gig in the UK.

The new “intimate” gig will be at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 8th June, as it has also been confirmed by the band on their official Twitter page, just few hours ago.

The new dates add to Arcade Fire UK summer tour, reserving to fans perhaps other surprises as the one they received last weekend, when the band played a secret show in their hometown, Montréal (Canada), debuting six new tracks.
