Morrissey has announced a new solo album, due to land on November 17th. Entitled ‘Low In High School’, the album marks the ex-Smiths frontman’s 11th solo album and first since 2013’s ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’. The singer has, perhaps surprisingly, been label-less for quite some time, having acrimoniously parted ways with previous label Harvest, declaring that working with them “almost killed” him. It seems he’s finally found a label to his liking however, as ‘Low In The High School’ is being released via BMG. The album was cut in part at Rome’s Forum Studios, as well as France’s La Fabrique Studios – however, past the title and release date, precious few details have yet to be announced. No tracklist has been shared yet and although the Facebook live stream announcement of the album did feature a typically-Morrissey-esque image, there’s no confirmation as of yet if that is indeed the album’s cover art.
