Mac DeMarco releases nine-track instrumental album, ‘Some Other Ones’

DeMarco’s self-styled “BBQ soundtrack”, was recorded between July 4th and July 8th in Queens, New York, and he put the whole album on Bandcamp last night. The title is a reference to a new mini-album that DeMarco is releasing on August 7^th, along with some world tour dates called ‘Another One’.

That’s not all Mac DeMarco was up to last night. He also held a BBQ and listening party in Brooklyn, New York, where he played his new mini-album from car speakers, while offering up BBQ food in return for food bank donations.
