The All-American Rejects have released two new tracks – ‘Sweat’ and ‘Close Your Eyes’ and are the band’s first new music since 2015’s single ‘There’s A Place’.

The two new tracks are very diverse in their approach and tone which looks to be a prelude to a new album as lead singer, Tyson Ritter teased in an interview with Billboard.

“The last five years of learning my craft as an actor and really developing that side of being a visual artist in that way has made me realize how important that really is — to put the eyes to the ears. This is going to be more of a visual experience. This record is going to be about your eyes and the headphones,” 

It’s been five years since the band released ‘Kids In The Street’ so fans have been left waiting but it seems the wait is coming to an end as the band aim for a release of their new album in the fall.

The band also released a particularly racy short film which includes their new music and centers around Ritter showcasing his acting skills, see the video below:
