Converge announce release of live album ‘Jane Live’

Metalcore standard bearers Converge have announced that they will release a live album version of their classic 2001 album ‘Jane Doe’, titled ‘Jane Live’ on March 3rd 2017 through their record label Deathwish Records.

The album was recorded when the band played the entire album at 2016’s Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands.  The set was then mixed by band member and prolific producer Kurt Ballou, who also produced the original album, at his God City Studio.  Deathwish Records have shared the audio for the live version of title track Jane Doe on their Soundcloud account to celebrate the announcement.

Jane Doe”s now iconic original cover art has also been reimagined by artists Florian Bertmer, John Blaizley, Randy Ortiz and Thomas Hooper for the various special edition LP version of the release.  As well as a real life reconstruction of the artwork by Ashley Rose Couture which the band used to tease the release through their social media accounts in the days before the announcement.
