After it was announced that Kevin Shields will be performing at Sigur Ros’ upcoming festival in Iceland, a bio has appeared on the event’s website with some information that may excite fans of My Bloody Valentine.

The bio ends by stating that Shields is “currently finishing an all analog vinyl version of Loveless and Isn’t Anything and is also working on material for a new My Bloody Valentine album to be released in 2018.

However, before anyone gets too excited, it’s worth remembering that it took Shields and co. 22 years to follow up 1991’s shoegaze classic ‘Loveless’ with their third album ‘m b v’ in 2013.
