Janie Price aka ‘Bird’ – the half English, half Irish London-based singer/songwriter, has completed her new album Figments of Our Imagination. The album, due to be released this summer, showcases her multi-instrumental skills; she plays every recorded instrument herself.
First single The Dare gives a taste of what’s to come with its whimsical vocals and multi-layered melodies, having been produced by legendary Rolling Stones producer, Chris Kimsey, and mixed by Lee Groves (Goldfrapp, Elbow) in New York.
Album opener Girl Can’t Decide is now available to stream (see below) and it’s a tasty slice of glossy pop synth. Bird’s quirky, individual style is stamped all over it.

She’s already toured with internationally acclaimed violinist Vanessa Mae, and composed and recorded strings for Just Jack and Emeli Sande, so we can expect an accomplished release from the London artist.
Bird will play a special gig at London’s Olympic Studios on Tuesday 7th July – TICKETS
