WooHah 2019 is on the horizon! As Europe’s biggest hip-hop festival, it’s looking like another scorching year for the Netherlands based live music event. As much as we love everyone on this years lineup, we’ve narrowed it down to our top five must-see acts!

Brockhampton

Kicking off the list is the best boyband since One Direction- Brockhampton. This multi-national multi-media group formed in 2015 through the now famous KanyeToThe forum. It’s now 13 members all come together to create something DIY, something between rap and literally every other genre you can think of. At the recent Governors Ball, they all turned up in spacesuits. If you’re not sold then you need to leave.

JID

In 2018 JID released ‘Dicapro 2’, an album of pure hype that displayed this young star’s incredible technical ability. His wonky beats and high and heady style make him one to watch. Watch the above single ‘Off Deez’ and see JID give J Cole a run for his money.

Lil Simz

This UK grown artist is something special. Lil Simz is never obvious, always outdoes herself and always weaves a perfect picture in words. Her latest album ‘Grey Area’ exhibits her skill perfectly, and we can’t wait to see her at WooHah 2019.

JPEGMAFIA

Now, if you’re ready from some hype, get ready for JPEGMafia. GIGsoup had the pleasure of seeing this gentleman absolutely kill it at Field Day Festival this year, and we’ve included the entirety of that set above. Just watch, you’ll see.

Jarreau Vandal

Again, another artist that we LOVE at GIGsoup. We’ve followed Jarreau Vandal for years and watched him grow. After coming to London with a fresh live show, we’re intrigued to see what this Netherlands native is going to do at WooHah 2019.
