Legendary drum and bass label Hospitality rolled back into London on a double-decker bus last week. This particular bus just had a few small differences. One was the well-spoken lady announcing stop names being replaced with MC Carousel. The other was the sound of oyster cards touching in was replaced with some quality drum and bass, supplied by Fred V.
Promoting Hospitality in the Park, their self-titled event at Finsbury Park this Saturday, the London bus picked up an eager group of commuters at Westminster before heading on a tour of London bringing a filthy drop or two to those lucky to be next to the bus when it passed. Or unlucky judging from the few head shakes there were. The bus tour provided ample inspiration for the MC to work with. It had been a while since GIGsoup last heard the wheels on the bus go round and round at a drum and bass gig.
It was an inspired choice for a gig location. With the people of London reminded drum and bass is out here. There are sure to be more shenanigans at the park on Saturday. Click here for more info.
