There is one group above all others who have filled more pages on the GIGsoup website. That group is the quite brilliant Toronto-based four-piece ‘The Beaches‘ and their quite flawless rock. The band today announce the release of their new EP ‘Heights‘, out on May 5th, via ‘AWAL‘ alongside a five date UK tour supporting ‘Brody Dalle‘ (The Distillers).
Details of the dates are below.
Signed to the prestigious ‘Three Six Zero Group‘ (Calvin Harris, deadmau5, Hurts), a partner of Jay Z’s Roc Nation – the Toronto-based four-piece are a shining example of good girls gone great. Breaking onto the circuit at the start of 2013 (a year which saw them open for ‘Kings of Leon’ in Montreal) they blend a contemporary edge with an acerbic new wave cool, punctuated by the odd L.A-inflected hook that allows them to flip their sound from snarly to sunny as their whims dictate.
