Say hello to the South Coasts favourite hoedown rockers.
Based in Southampton, these guys have been kicking up a storm down south. Their perfect blend of everything Country/Blues/Hillbilly & Southern Rock (+ everything else in-between) has seen punters being treated to a high octane live performance accompanied by a new and raw sound, not often heard in the drinking holes of the south coast.
With a new Live Sessions album just released and a ton of gigs booked, the band were interviewed just before a practice recently, minus Stephen the Banjo player. Watch the clip to see what the guys had to say about who they are and how they came to be…
Since winning a Facebook competition, the band have collaborated with the popular beer merchant, Piston Head. With the relationship centred around media networking, the affiliation sees the band receive gigs and merchandise freebies in return for social media exposure via Facebook and Instagram. Opportunities such as these can only favour the potential of new up coming bands.
Recently the band were played on US radio station Rock 93X, and have been heavily plugged by the Cowboys Juke Joint. So does this mean a stateside visit is on the cards?

Their originality and quirky set up has seen the band busy this year having over 20+ gigs booked thought out the rest of 2017. This includes a headlining spot at the Dive Bar for Grillstock 2017, Bristol this July 2nd.
Before that, the band head to Dark Holler on June 30th, Lychett Matravers. A newer festival date on the calendar, Dark Holler intriguingly claim to be an “intimate festival encompasses all the darker corners of the roots musical world”. Sounds like something to look forward to.
However, with a number of dates set in the calendar for the Dirty Diesel crew, you’ve lots of opportunity so see them live, which is highly recommended.
