Tramlines – the UK’s largest and most musically diverse inner-city festival – have today announced a whopping 60 more artists.

2016 marks the eighth edition of Tramlines, which annually sees 100,000 music fans create a carnival atmosphere throughout the Steel City. The latest additions to July event include off-kilter instrumentalists Public Service Broadcasting, former Long Blondes frontwoman Kate Jackson and larger-than-life MC Big Narstie.

The new wave of acts also includes a DJ set from six-time world snooker champion Steve Davis and such local favourites as Andy H and Blood Sport.

Tickets for the 3-day event remain on sale for £42, making it one of the most competitively priced festivals around.
