The ‘Indietracks’ Festival 2015 has today added more acts to their already impressive line-up. ‘The Pains Of Being Pure at Heart’, ‘Laetitia Sadier’ (former lead with Stereolab) and The Wave Pictures (who released the excellent LP ‘Great Big Flamingo Burning Moon’ in February) are among 22 artists added to this year’s Indietracks line-up. The festival takes place on the weekend of 24-26 July 2015 at a picturesque 1950s steam railway in Derbyshire.
Other bands already confirmed for Indietracks include The Go! Team, Cinerama, Martha, Tigercats and Euros Childs as well as Desperate Journalist, Mammoth Penguins, The School, Bunnygrunt, The Catenary Wires, The Tuts, Los Bonsáis, Fire Island Pines, The Fireworks, JUNK., The Leaf Library and Eureka California.
Around 50 indie-pop bands from across the globe will be playing across four stages at Indietracks: the outdoor stage; the indoor stage, the church and on the steam trains themselves.
This is the ninth annual Indietracks festival, which takes place at the Midland Railway in Ripley, in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. The site houses a whole range of lovingly restored steam diesels and locomotives.
