Liverpool’s Sound City have now confirmed the line up of artists to join John Cale on 26 May at the city’s Clarence Dock show.

Gruff Rhys, front man of the Super Furry Animals and established solo artist will be joined by Wild Beasts, Fat White Family, The Kills, Nadine Shah and Clinic at this exclusive show, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Velvet Underground and Nico album.

The festival is showcasing the cream of acts old and new and it was only two weeks ago GIGsoup announced that the Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess will also be in attendance with band mate Mark Collins, playing at the Tim Peaks Diner. All in all the 10th anniversary year offering is shaping up rather nicely.
