Currently, there’s a whirlwind of anticipation, expectation & excitement following recent news of famed desert-rockers Queens of the Stone Age being back in the studio working on a follow-up to 2013’s ‘…Like Clockwork’. A quartet of teasing studio images were published on their Instagram page, and an image of Josh Homme, Dave Grohl & Jesse Hughes pictured in a studio started to circulate, before being officially taken down.

To further stoke the fire, QOTSA have officially confirmed they will play Fuji Rock Festival, Japan’s most-prolific annualised music festival which runs from July 28th-30th this year. Other confirmed acts include Aphex Twin, Björk, LCD Soundsystem & Lorde, with more to be revealed.

Assuming the new record drops in the Summer, this could potentially be their first live outing since September 2015.
