The three-piece electronic music masterminds, Moderat have been announced as one of the headliners for the weekend. Having been voted the #1 Live Act of the Year in 2009, Berlin-based Apparat (Sascha Ring) and Modeselektor (Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary) will bring their own gritty take on electronic pop music with them. Known for their emotive and stylistic moments of cutting-edge techno experimentation, they promise to make their set an unforgettable experience.
The second headliners are the eclectic, quirky and essentially legendary trio De La Soul. Forming way back in 1987, these guys will bring old school vibes to a brand-new audience. After releasing their 9nth album last year via crowdfunding, it included incredible collaborations with Damon Albarn, Little Dragon and 2 Chainz. However, it is their classic debut ‘3 Feet High and Rising’ which is one of hip-hops defining moments. This performance is one for the history books.
There will also be unmissable sets across the village from a carefully refined list of exceptional artists. The full line-up features, Dixon, Nina Kraviz, The Black Madonna, Hunee, Craig Charles, Mr Scruff, and Dusky. Jackmaster will also be there along with Bicep, Ben UFO, Telefom Tel Aviv, Nightmares On Wax, Midland, Ibibo Sound Machine, Maribou State and Fatima Yamaha. Leon Vynehall, Jeremy Underground, Move D, Max Cooper, Artwork, Greg Wilson, Axel Boman, Gerd Janson, and many, many more are billed to perform with more acts still to be announced.
