It has been announced that The Libertines, The Vaccines and Franz Ferdinand are to headline Truck Festival 2017. The Oxfordshire Festival is celebrating it’s 20th birthday and has revealed a stellar line-up to compliment the celebrations.
On Social Media, the reveal was highly anticipated as many festival-goers have been dissapointed with the lack of originality and diversity spread across mainstream festivals, with Reading and Leeds in particular taking the brunt of the criticism. Truck Festival this year has provided an exception, alongside a dip into indie nostalgia in the form of Franz Ferdinand and the likes of The Wombats who are also making an appearance has been perfectly balanced with some of the best up and coming bands that the UK has to offer.
The Line-up also features the likes of Slaves, Sundara Karma, JAWS and Croydon rapper Loyle Carner who seems to be taking the world by storm at the moment after the release of his debut album ‘Yesterday’s Gone’. VANT, Cabbage and The Magic Gang formulate the highlights of the emerging crop of talent on show at the festival as well as INHEAVEN and Goat Girl.
Tier 1,2 and 3 tickets have already sold out but you can get your hands on the remainder of Tier 4 tickets here – http://www.truckfestival.com/tickets/
