This morning Parklife announced their lineup, and man does it look good! Among the 137 acts announced, there are huge artists and newcomers alike. Firstly, The 1975 and Frank Ocean are both headlining, setting the bar extremely high for the rest of the festival.
Living up to Parklife’s reputation as being one of the hottest in the UK for dance music, fans can also expect to see Oliver Heldens, Hannah Wants, My Nu Leng and Mura Masa performing. But Parklife isn’t just about dance music. The Festival is known nationwide for its variety. In keeping with this, they offer performances from George Ezra and London Grammar.

As a result, fans who want acoustic rhythms and beautifully serene guitar tones will be more than happy. Alternatively, if you’re more into catchy hooks and upbeat tunes that scream summer, Two Door Cinema Club, Boy Better Know and Jess Glynne have got you covered.
While Parklife’s lineup features some industry heavyweights, for many the most noteworthy part of their lineup are the five artists that featured on BBC’s Sound of 2017 list – a great start to an undoubtedly full summer of performances for AJ Tracey, Rag’n’Bone Man, Nadia Rose, The Japanese House and Anderson .Paak. Another gem on the lineup is independent artist Tom Misch. Tom is set to make waves this year with his funky rhythms, as well as his awesomely syncopated electric guitar riffs.
Tickets go on sale 9am tomorrow (Thursday 2nd February)
