Today marks the start of 2000trees, a 3 day extravaganza set in the stunning Cotswold Hills. From 11th-13th July, 2000trees (known as ‘Britain’s Coolest Festival’ by Kerrang! Magazine) will be home to the best of the UK’s rock and alternative scene, with Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, You Me At Six, and Deaf Havana headlining this year’s edition.
For the first time in the festival’s history, 2000trees opened a day early. A special Wednesday evening gathering celebrated the initiation of the festival, with sets in the intimate Forest stage setting.
2000trees is well known for being one of the friendliest festivals in the UK, a welcoming abode for those experiencing their first weekend of live music. So for new festival goers, it’s worth checking out their newly released survival guides, recently uploaded to social media channels.
We totally endorse the Pieminister tip, by the way. And don’t forget the Pad Thai stall – it’s not unusual to hear bands on the Main Stage give it a shout out.
