Maintaining the emphasis on authentic punk with the addition of the emerging wave of new wave, Camden Rocks Festival’s second announcement contains half the Sex Pistols in the form of Paul Cook and Steve Jones in their present day incarnation The Professionals, long term sparring partners of The Damned the irrepressible Anti Nowhere League and ska-punk / spoken word act The King Blues. The modern brand of punk is represented by The Blinders, Max Factor, the rather fabulous Louise Distras and others mixing old and new nicely. The post hardcore/ metal scene has it usual representation with Napoleon and When We Were Wolves being just two of the groups booked so far. Unsurprisingly Carl Barat and The Jackals will be there again this year, a guaranteed good time from this band who are first on the team sheet when it comes to Camden Rocks.

Keeping up with her brother Lucie Barat and the Au Revoirs are booked too. Previously announced indie/synth acts Young Kato, Courage My Love and Secret Cameras will have electro Indie band Yonaka keeping them company adding to the list of rock sub genres covered.
