The third annual By The Sea festival in Margate has added a slew of acts to the lineup.
Acts that will take part in the seaside weekend now include Brighton-based post-punks British Sea Power, songwriter-turned-indie rocker Marika Hackman, glam-punks HMLTD, lo-fi indie posters Girl Ray, pop-punk art school graduates Dream Wife, East London experimenters Deep Throat Choir, alt-rocker Wesley Gonzalez and Bahrain’s folkadelic Flamingods.
The festival promises more “special guests” will be added to the schedule. It takes place mainly at Margate’s iconic Dreamland fun fair, with fringe events at other venues in the coastal town.
By The Sea had previously revealed its headline acts — Everything Everything on Friday 29th September, Metronomy on Saturday 30th September, and The Libertines on Sunday 1st October.
Sunday day tickets are sold out, but weekend and other day tickets are still on sale.
