Five new acts have been added to the first TRNSMT festival lineup, taking place in Glasgow Green from 7-9 July.
Friday’s main stage will see the first play of some tracks from EverythingEverything‘s forthcoming new album, as well as a set from JP Cooper – the voice of Jonas Blue’s ‘Perfect Strangers’.
Irish rock n rollers The Strypes will be joining the already impressive Sunday lineup featuring the likes of Biffy Clyro, The 1975 and The View.
Local favourites Gerry Cinnamon and Be Charlotte have been added to the King Tut’s Stage, showcasing up-and-coming talent. Gerry Cinnamon has built up a huge buzz in his home city and won Best Live Act at last year’s Scottish Alternative Music Awards. Be Charlotte is also known for her unique live shows, adding a digital visual element to compliment her electropop sound.
