Feel good indie. There’s nothing like it. Two Door Cinema club have the ability to create it without breaking into a sweat and now Folkestone band ‘Native People’ have taken up the mantel.
With a debut EP on it’s way the young dapper looking band (there’s a definite 1975 look to proceedings) have today dropped lead single ‘Tapes’. An easy listening track that combines a quick tempo and anthemic guitars the track is a real taster of things to come. Only last month the band unveiled a free download of ‘What You’re Waiting For’ which was praised by the music press.
Already sporting a strong live following, which has seen them support acts such as ‘Mausi’, ‘Jaws’, and ‘Dave Rowntree’ of ‘Blur’ on tour, ‘Native People’ also played a sold-out show at KOKO for Club NME last September.
