The band were formed in 2011, and the dynamic five-piece are on a mission to shake things up with a unique blend of genre, style and attitude that has been labelled ‘Future–Ska’. “We believe lots of mainstream music has lost it’s soul and does not provide a message with the beat. Too much style over substance. We love the stories the Kinks told, the message and vibe Bob Marley transmitted and the attitude The Clash injected.”
Last year was a big year for the boys, as they released their ‘LUZAVILLE’ EP, produced by ‘Gordon Raphael‘, who has previously worked with The Strokes on their iconic album, ‘This Is It’. The band also headlined London’s Scala, appeared at LeeFest and supported Babyshambles on their UK tour.
The London band have also featured heavily on BBC radio and their momentum shows no sign of slowing down. ‘Just A Ride‘ (a new track), will be released in March this year and they have also just announced that they are to perform as part of the Roundhouse Rising Festival on February 24th.
Lazytalk are Piers Robinson, Jack Wilson, Sam Woodward, Joshua Culter and Tag Ara
