We thought we’d ask Connor from the band to answer our Boom! questions …
Who are the members of the band and how did you meet?
Connor Mchnicholshploof, Jamie shloopagher, Paul shlopton, Alexis Kalochaloch.
We met in fallowfield. Vibrant hub of many a Manchester band down the years!
How did you come up with the name Dantevilles?
We thought do you know what? Dantevilles
What artists have influenced your sound?
We range on interests, personally it was the stone roses. They introduced me to guitar music and melody and how the two can work so well together.
What was the inspiration behind ‘Bloomin’ Flowers’?
Blooming’ flowers was influenced by the beauty of relationships, however or whoever they are formed.
What are your aims and hopes for 2019?
Aims and hopes are to be what we wanna be. We’ve spent too much time with time wasters, it’s our turn to run our own show now. And that’ll come across in our live sound and recorded tunes. We hope!
What were your favourite albums of 2018?
Shame and Arctic monkeys.
If you could give one tip to any aspiring bands what would it be?
Tip: work hard, stick together and ignore outside influences as much as possible. Most of all love what you do!
