With over 2 million streams across his previous singles, radio plays from BBC Radio 1 and Radio X, appearances at The Great Escape Festival and Live At Leeds, plus shows alongside Isaac Gracie, Rue Royal, Luke Sital-Singh and Delilah Montagu, Archie Faulks latest single ‘Foreign Kiss’ will appear on the ‘Longing in London’ EP (set for release on February 14th 2020).

We got Archie to answers some Boom! questions about the track, his 2019, and his plans for 2020 –

How did you first start making music?

When I was a 9 year old and I would make up melodies on the clarinet. I started teaching myself the guitar a year later and played in bands throughout my teenage years.

John Martyn, Nick Drake, Glen Hansard, John Mayer and more

What was the inspiration behind ‘Foreign Kiss’?

Falling for a beautiful flat mate of mine

What are your plans and hopes for the track now its out?

That people listen to it and enjoy it!

What have been your favourite records of 2019?

I am a big Big Thief fan so U.F.O.F, also loved father of the bride by Vampire Weekend and Angel Olsen All Mirrors

If you could give one tip to any aspiring artists what would it be?

Focus on the music!
