22 year old graduate looking to make use of, what was effectively, £30,000's worth of writing classes. I may never get to so much as own a house or retire in my life time but if I am able to write for the rest of my life, paid or unpaid, i'll be happy. Generational bitterness aside I have a real passion for music which has expanded exponentially from my 16 year old grunge obsession into a complete fascination and curiosity for all things melodic be it Jazz, Blues, Punk Rock or Hip Hop. For those of us who understand what it means to define our lives with personal soundtracks and scores, to travel back through your life at will with the correct arrangement of chords and cascading harmonies, we understand that music has a power all of its own, it is redemptive and heroic, it is romantic and it is desperately sad. Much like the lives we each live it is never the same from one person to the next. Because of this it deserves our time and attention, our appreciation and our criticism.
